The Primitive Black tube boost is a guitar/bass boost pedal that will increase your overall signal level, but also add a slight tonal coloring depending on the tube that is installed. Any 12A*7 series tube can be swapped for a change in tone and output level. Each pedal comes with a NOS 12AT7 tube that is hand selected & tested by ear for added quality control. The idea of The Primitive Black Boost is to place it in your signal chain after your favorite OD pedal to take it to 11, adding dynamics and clarity, while maintaining its original character.
